Social Networks in Movement : Time, interaction and interethnic spaces in Central Eastern Europe

The book is a contribution to the anthropological study of social networks on postsocialist societies. After the decline of the topic in the past two decades, social networks have re-acquired analytical importance in the anthropological investigation. The events that followed the fall of the Berlin Wall have produced dramatic and profound changes in Central Eastern Europe. In a general panorama of transformation, institutional restructuring and the forthcoming accession to the EU, it is not surprising if the importance of webs of networks that tie individuals or groups is recognized. The authors approach networks not as static patterns of interaction, but as institutions in movement in time and space according to the ways in which actors configure their present.

A társadalmi kapcsolatrendszerek változásai : Idő, interakció és interetnikus térségek Közép-Kelet-Európában

A könyv alapjául a 2001. október 5–7-én a Fórum Társadalomtudományi Intézet által megrendezett A társadalmi kapcsolatrendszerek változásai című galántai konferencia szolgált. A könyv fő gondolati vonalát a kelet-közép-európai posztszocialista országokban végzett kutatás képezte. Bár nehéz általános következtetéseket levonni az adott témában, hiszen nemcsak maguk a posztszocialista országok, hanem azok egyes régiói is különböznek egymástól, mégis a posztszocialista kutatási területek együttes megközelítése adhatja meg a válaszokat az 1989-et követő fontos társadalmi, politikai, gazdasági és kulturális változásokhoz kapcsolódó kérdéseinkre.

Premeny spoločenských sociálnych sietí : Čas, interakcia a interetnické oblasti v Strednej a Východnej Európy

Základom knihy bola konferencia s názvom „Premeny spoločenských sociálnych sietí“ usporiadaná Fórum inštitútom pre výskum menšín v Galante, 5.–7. októbra 2001. Hlavnou myšlienkovou líniou bol výskum v postsocialistických európskych krajín. Hoci sa v danej téme ťažko vyvádzajú všeobecné úsudky, keďže sa samotné postsocialistické štáty aj ich regióny značne líšia od seba, predsa len, spoločný náhľad na ne môže poslúžiť odpoveďami na otázky spoločenských, politických, ekonomických a kultúrnych zmien po r. 1989.
